VidFlux offers a Chrome browser extension that allows users to generate videos from images found on any website. When you use the extension, we collect and process specific data as described below.
Image URLs: When you right-click on an image and select "Generate Video with VidFlux" from the context menu, the extension captures the URL of the selected image.
- User Action: You explicitly right-click on an image and choose to generate a video
- Data Transmission: The image URL is transmitted to our service at https://vidflux.ai
- Processing: The image is used exclusively for the video generation service you requested
- No Permanent Storage: We do not permanently store image URLs beyond what is necessary for service delivery
- Track your browsing history or behavior
- Monitor websites you visit
- Collect personal information without your explicit action
- Share your data with third parties
- Store data permanently in the extension
- Access or modify content on websites you visit (except for selected images)
The Chrome extension requests the following permissions:
- contextMenus: To add the right-click menu option for generating videos
- storage: To store minimal configuration data (such as user preferences)
- host_permissions: To access image URLs from websites you choose to process
Important: Despite requesting broad permissions, the extension only processes images you explicitly select. It does not track, monitor, or access any other content.
- The extension only activates when you explicitly use it
- You can uninstall the extension at any time through Chrome settings
- Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data
- No background processes run when the extension is not in use
- All data transmission between the extension and our servers uses secure HTTPS protocol
- Image URLs are processed using the same security measures as our main service
- No sensitive data is stored in the extension itself
We implement appropriate security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
We may employ third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our services, provide services on our behalf, or assist us in analyzing how our services are used.
